Understanding and accessing California's Regional Center system can be challenging-but Speak 4 Me Foundation is here to help families every step of the way.
We Provide:
  • Support with Intake & Eligibility Questions to help families understand the application process.
  • Help Navigating Services such as respite care, early intervention, and therapeutic resources.
  • Assistance Preparing for IPP Meetings with tips and tools to communicate effectively with service coordinators.

The Speak Up Circle - A Support Group for Families & Caregivers

Navigating the challenges and triumphs of raising a child with special needs can be overwhelming-but you don't have to do it alone. The Speak Up Circle is a safe, supportive community created for parents, guardians, and caregivers to come together, share their experiences, and lift each other up. We host sessions once a month, offering both in-person and virtual options to meet families where they are.
Through this group, we offer:
  • Parent Connection in a judgment-free space where every voice is valued and every story matters.
  • Guided Conversations facilitated by compassionate staff or experienced parents.
  • Educational Topics covering areas such as navigating IEP meetings, advocating for services, and self-care for caregivers.
  • Emotional Support & Encouragement remind families that they are seen, heard, and never alone.
  • Community Events- raising visibility and promoting inclusion through family fun days and walks.

Assistance with Conservatorship Forms & Guidance

Planning for the future can be emotional and overwhelming, especially when it involves legal decisions like conservatorship. At Speak 4 Me Foundation, we provide compassionate, non-legal support to families exploring conservatorship options for individuals with special needs.
Our services include:
  • Step-by-Step Guidance on how to complete conservatorship forms accurately and thoroughly.
  • Clarity on the Process including what conservatorship means, when it may be necessary, and what alternatives may exist.
  • Resource Referrals to trusted legal aid organizations, advocacy centers, and educational workshops for more in-depth support.
  • Document Review & Supportive Coaching to help caregivers feel confident and prepared throughout the process.
